Devil May Care - Rated A very entertaining story with a wildly improbable plot, in which the hapless heroine finds herself taking care of a (supposedly) haunted house, and dealing with a succesion of unpleasant ghosts. There are some very entertaining supporting characters and a host of possible villains to choose from. The main weak spot of the novel is the heroine's ghastly fiance, it's hard to believe such a brave, resourceful woman could ever have wanted to get engaged to such a wet lettuce in the first place. Apart from that, it's great fun.

A very entertaining story with a wildly improbable plot, in which

There are some very entertaining supporting characters and a
host of possible villains to choose from.

The main weak spot of the novel is the heroine's ghastly fiance,
