Just a warning that this is the type of book that is given away free with cosmopolitan - it's that bad. I was actually looking forward to reading it after reading some reviews raving about both the book and its author. Far from being impossible to put down, some parts are so appallingly cliched and badly written that it was a real struggle to pick up (It was the only book i'd taken with me on a weekend away).

I love this book. - Rated
I have just finished reading this book and I really enjoyed it. I foundit beautiful and sad, but not depresssing, and I couldn't put it down. The book is well written and easy to follow without being simple. Itleaves you guessing about what's going to happen till the end, withseveral unexpected twists in the plot. And although these twists in the plot can sometimes be a littlefrustrating, they remind you that people aren't perfect, and neither isevery situation that you find yourself in, but that people live throughthese, for better or worse. Because more than anything this book seems tobe about people and relationships. Coming away from it I feel as though Iunderstand perhaps less about human nature but more about itscomplexity. However there is not a lack of storyline because of the analyses by thecharacters and the plot unfolds in several very different places, changingoften enough to keep you hooked. Read this book if you have a spare weekend and want to get absorbed in astory and read about characters that you can identify with. This is mynew favourite book and I will definately re-read it sometime in thefuture.
